Sunday Afternoon Flea Market Visit
AFTER CHURCH HUBBY AND I DECIDED TO HEAD
UP TO THE NASHVILLE FLEA MARKET.
I LOVE TO GO, AND I REALLY BELIEVE HE
LIKES IT BETTER AND BETTER EACH TIME WE VISIT.
WE SPENT $28 ON THE ENTIRE TRIP! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
*15 FOR THE MIRROR. IT'S NOT OLD, AND I
HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I WILL HANG IT.
*$3 FOR THE SWEET LITTLE SERVING FORK.
IT'S MONOGRAMMED WITH "EB."
*$3 FOR A STINKING PEPSI. HIGH I THOUGHT!
*4 FOR PARKING.
SO, A FAIRLY CHEAP AFTERNOON, AND BROUGHT
HOME TWO GOODIES.
I HOPE YOU'VE HAD A GRRRREAT WEEKEND!

Lanes, Trains, and Automobiles......
TODAY, WE CHECKED OUT A PLACE CALLED
LANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES.
WE BOWLED, RODE BUMPER CARS,
PLAYED GAMES, AND ATE A YUMMY SUPPER.
A NICE SATURDAY FAMILY OUTING.
I HOPE YOUR WEEKEND IS GOING WELL.

No zoo for us
We didn't attempt the Zoo today:( Little Brother, as you know if you read my blog at all, has terrible allergies and asthma. With the air quality (I check it daily online.) being hazardous today, I thought better of spending the day outside. I REALLY struggle with keeping a positive attitude in terms of his allergies/asthma. I get so down about it and worry about it all the time. At times, it is consuming for me. The meds, the shots, the doctors, the ER visits in the middle of the night, the ambulance, the hospital stays, the inhalers.....and still the breakthrough symptoms. I REALLY have to work at reminding myself that God brings us through each and every episode, and this one will be no different. Please let me know if you have children who suffer from allergies/asthma. What are your med and/or mental secrets in dealing with it all?

We are on Spring Break this week!
God has blessed us with LOVELY weather.
The children and I are planning a trip
to the zoo on Thursday. We are excited.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG.........
Spring HAS sprung at the Huff Home.
We are hoping for no more frost, because we have been
planting, planting, planting.
Yard work is something Hubby and I both love.
He is so good at keeping the yard cut, trimmed, and manicured.
I love to water and nurture the plants and flowers.
I think when we retire, we will be that couple you always see in the yard.

EASTER
WHAT DID WE DO ON EASTER?
WELL, THE NIGHT BEFORE, WE TALKED WITH THE
CHILDREN ABOUT THE TRUE MEANING.
WE READ THE EASTER STORY FROM THE BIBLE TO THEM.
WE ALWAYS LIKE TO BE SURE THEY REALIZE
THE REAL REASONS FOR THE CHRISTMAS AND EASTER SEASONS.
THEN, THE KIDDOS GOT UP ON EASTER MORNING,
AND LOOKED THROUGH WHAT THE BUNNY HAD LEFT.
THEN, OFF TO CHURCH FOR A NICE SERVICE.
AFTER A GREAT LUNCH WITH MY PARENTS AND SISTER, WE
HEADED TO HUBBY'S MOM'S HOUSE FOR
AN EGG HUNT.
WE ENDED THE DAY WITH A QUIET AFTERNOON AT HOME, AND
A SEMI-EARLY BEDTIME.
HOW WAS YOUR EASTER WEEKEND?
I HOPE IT WAS TERRIFIC!
