Waiting patiently........

I've noticed some things budding and peeking out.

Hubby and I have been chatting about what we want

to do in the yard this year.

I have been picking up new pots here and there.

I'm ready to get in the dirt and get my flowers going.

Last week a friend gave me some iris and lillies. Of course, I've already put them out!

Recognize this?.......

YES. I BROUGHT MY TABLESCAPE FROM THE DININGROOM

TO CHURCH FOR THE SNACK TABLE.

I JUST HAD SIMPLE SNACKS, CHIPS, COOKIES, CANDY, AND CAPRI SUN.

WE HAD A PERFECT TURNOUT, A PERFECT AMOUNT OF SNACKS,

PERFECT WEATHER, AND JUST ENOUGH EGGS (600!)

GREAT EASTER EGG HUNT!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR,

AND EGG HUNTERS ARE EVERYWHERE!

TODAY WAS OUR EASTER EGG HUNT AT CHURCH.

WE HAD A GREAT TURNOUT,

AND THE KIDS HAD A FUN TIME.

THEY GET SO EXCITED OVER HUNTING THE EGGS.

I MADE TEN PRIZE EGGS, AND THEY WERE HIDDEN WITH THE REST.

SUCH FUN!

We are ready.....

.......for warmth!

We are ready for Spring!

We are a family who likes to play outside.

Our two oldest are on Spring Break this week.

They were thankful for the pretty day today.

Our two youngest and I have Spring Break in April.

Hopefully (surely) it will be warm and pretty for us.

We are looking forward to it.

YES, I'M MISSING MY HUBBY RIGHT NOW.

HE'S AWAY, AND I AM SUPPOSED TO BE WITH HIM.

Goodbye Basketball.....

..........Hello baseball.

Basketball is over for the year. We totally enjoyed it. Here are

just a few pix. They are a little fuzzy. I haven't mastered

the "action" shots yet.

Baseball will soon begin. Little Bro is playing. After that, Big Bro will do football again.

We love to watch the kids in their activities. We make sure the brothers and sisters

attend as many games as possible to support eachother. We feel that is important.

I Love My Job

I do work outside our home. I am a teacher, and have been for 13 years. It has been a very rewarding career path. I'm so blessed that God led me to be a teacher. I am especially loving this year. Little Sis and Little Bro are there with me. They are in Kindergarten and 1st grade. I LOVE knowing we are in the same building all day, 5 days a week. I see them in the halls or at lunch and am able to steal little kisses and hugs. What a blessing! There's no rushing out of work to pick anyone up. They are already there. They just walk down the hall to my room. We sit and do their homework before we even leave school. I love every part of it.
