I WILL CERTAINLY HAVE PIX LATER, BUT LET ME JUST SAY, SNOOOOOOW! WHEW! WE WISHED FOR IT, BUT GOOD GRIEF! WE HAD HEADED TO TULLAHOMA THIS MORNING TO GET LITTLE BROTHER'S ALLERGY SHOT. WE STOPPED AT LOWES, HAD LUNCH AT FAZOLI'S, AND BY THAT TIME WE WERE WISHING WE HAD STARTED HOME EARLIER. NOW, I DO TEND TO PANIC EASILY, BUT THOSE POLICE WERE OUT DIRECTING TRAFFIC FOR A REASON. YOU KNOW IT'S BAD WHEN YOU CANNOT SEE WHERE THE ROAD STARTS AND STOPS. NO YELLOW LINES TO BE SEEN ANYWHERE! WONDERFUL HUBBY HAD JUST GOTTEN ME NEW TIRES A FEW WEEKS AGO (THANKS HONEY), BUT I WORRY ABOUT THOSE OTHER PEOPLE. DO THEY HAVE GOOD TIRES, OR ARE THEIRS SLICK, AND ARE THEY GOING TO PLOW INTO ME?! ANY HOO, HUBBY AND DAD ARE THE ONLY CLOSE FAMILY STILL OUT THERE. THE REST OF US ARE HOME. I FEEL A RATHER LARGE SNOW MAN COMING ON!!!! YOU KNOW I WILL HAVE PIX LATER! HAVE FUN!!!!

At Home
I absolutely love days when we are just home. Today was one of those. Little Sis and Bro each had a friend over, so Mommy reworked some things around the house, the kitchen mostly. I get in those moods sometimes when I'm tired of the way things are decorated. Do you do that?

Mom, my Sister and I went to a few antique shops Saturday after the basketball games (I will have to update you on basketball soon. It's a sight!) Anyway, I'd been wanting something new for the front door, but not a wreath. I found this cute, flat hanging basket, but what they had in it was well, UGLY. So, Mom helped me pick out some flowers to put in it. I think it turned out cute. What do you think?
I've had the large jar in my bedroom just empty, but decided to move it to the kitchen and add some spanish moss and lemons. Pretty, huh?
The paintings, my sweet Hubby has given me. I love the colors!
You can't tell from the photo, but the plate (beside the tomatoes) is from the Paula Deen Collection (love her), and it says, "Roots run deep when it comes to the love of a family and home." My Sister gave it to me for Christmas. I love it!
Oh yeah, and I moved the coffee pot and microwave. Hubby will be surprised!
HAVE A NICE MONDAY NIGHT!

It snowed, sort of.
It wasn't the deep, snowman-building snow we had hoped for, but it flurried on and off for 3 days. We were out of school Thurs and Fri, so we didn't complain. I'm sure we will go back tomorrow, but there is still hope since some backroads are still icy (I'm an elementary school teacher).
The kiddos had lots of fun even if it wasn't the deep, snowman-building stuff.

WE ARE HOME FROM SCHOOL TODAY BECAUSE OF A SNOW FORECAST. IT'S ONLY FLURRYING NOW, BUT WE ARE HOPEFUL THAT IT'S COMING.
HERE ARE PIX OF LITTLE SIS'S CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE AT HER DANCE STUDIO AND SANTA'S VISIT TO HER CLASSROOM AT SCHOOL.
OH, AND SHE WAS STUDENT OF THE MONTH! CHECK OUT THE PIX OF HER WITH THE PRINCIPAL OF HER SCHOOL. HOW COOL IS THAT?
